Quick reminder to everyone -- no racing this Friday, nor the next.
We're not racing again 'til the 12th of December

Last race for November is done, and results are up via the Calendar.
We're off for two weeks, then back on December 12th & 19th.
November 10 2008
And with that, the first leg is done, and the WCICS for 2008/09 is underway.
| Apologies are due the
rest of the series clubs, in regards to plaque handouts. It had
apparently been decided some time ago that WCICS awards wouldn't be
handed out until the end of the series. Whatever the thought
process that brought it about, the N.A.S.C.A.R. event committee broke
that particular agreement. There was no malicious intent, only concern
that racers would come so far to race and go home empty-handed.
(Personally I think the committee just plum forgot. -ed.) N.A.S.C.A.R. does not wish the other clubs to feel the least bit obligated to provide awards at their series events - please consider it a rule that got broken not a precedent that got set. |

please note that there is no race on November the 14th, we're back on
for the 21st, and the following two weeks thereafter are race-free as

Note that GT and Touring Stock are run in the same heat, but will be scored separately.
October 24 2008
A logistical foulup of cataclysmic proportions meant that Race Night for Oct. 24 was cancelled -
and that in a last-minute, don't-find-out-until-you-get-there fashion.
We could all have used the practice time, but remember that for the WCICS event on the first weekend
of November there's all of Friday night to get some track time in, and that more people showing up early
makes for a quicker setup and more time to practice for the weekend-long event.
October 2008
So the season is underway, and with plenty of attendance to boot.
Calendar is now accessible - sorry, missed a link so while it was up nobody could see it.
There are a few days we're scheduled not to race, so be sure to check it out so you know
when to come out, and when to stay home.
The first leg of the WCICS is the first weekend of November so plan for it!
Results for the first week's race won't be up 'til after week two, sorry for the delay.

The winter indoor season is starting soon!
Friday October 3rd is the first race in the 2008/09 season.
Bring $40 for your membership, and $10 for your race fee.
